The Thayngen Customs Office of JCL Logistics has been selected by the Northeast Customs Authority as a site for the “Stadi” pilot project. This recognition highlights our expertise and leading role in car customs clearances: no other freight forwarder in the region handles as many transactions in this area as JCL in Thayngen.
Starting December 3, 2024, “Stadi” will mark a significant milestone in digitalization. This project automates the assessment process for road vehicles. Business partners will be able to digitally obtain the assessment certificate for road vehicles (Form 13.20 A) and independently print it on the required paper form for vehicle registration. The previously mandatory visit to the customs counter will be completely eliminated.
For JCL Logistics, participation in “Stadi” is a major success and another step forward in our mission to deliver innovative solutions and efficient processes for our customers. Our clients will directly benefit from this innovation: faster processing, reduced bureaucracy, and expedited border crossings.
The “Stadi” pilot project demonstrates how modern technology can revolutionize customs processes—benefiting businesses, customers, and the economy alike. JCL is proud to be part of this groundbreaking initiative and to actively shape the digital transformation in customs operations.
